Why we exist

The hard part was never the doctor

It was everything around the visit — the rules, the fees, the wait. So we flipped the usual order.
  • Pay first, learn the rules laterRules first, free — payment only after approval
  • “Same day” that turns out to mean the visit, not the cardEach state's real processing time, before you book
  • A state fee nobody mentionedOur price and the state's fee, side by side
  • Auto-renewing membershipsOne fee per visit and a reminder — never an auto-charge

Plain and simple

What MyMMJRx is — and isn't

We are

  • A telehealth platform that connects you with independent physicians licensed in your state.
  • A guide through your state's registry application, step by step.
  • A free, plain-English source for every state's program rules and every common qualifying condition.

We aren't

  • A medical practice. Physicians make every medical decision — we never pressure an approval.
  • A dispensary. We don't sell cannabis or take referral fees from anyone who does.
  • A law firm. Our guides explain public rules; they aren't legal advice.

Editorial standards

How we keep information accurate

A wrong fee or a stale condition list costs real people time and money.
See the sources on any state page
  1. Official sources only. State facts come from each program's own website, fee schedules, patient FAQs and, where available, the law itself — never from other clinics or dispensaries.

  2. Rewritten in plain English. We summarize the rules in our own words so you don't have to read statutes, and link the original so you can check us.

  3. Dated and sourced. Every state page lists its sources and the date we last checked them, and tells you to confirm with the state before you apply.

  4. Honest about research. Condition pages label the strength of the evidence using the National Academies review and FDA decisions. We never claim cannabis cures anything.

  5. Corrections welcome. Spot something out of date? Email [email protected] and we'll fix it.

Our promises

Four things you can hold us to

  • No charge without approval

Payment is taken only after a physician approves you, so there's never a refund to chase.
  • Licensed where you live

You'll see your physician's name and license before the visit, and can verify it on your state board.
  • Your data stays private

We never sell it, and never share it with employers, insurers or advertisers.
  • No surprise charges

No memberships, no auto-renewal, nothing added at checkout. We remind you before your card expires.

Questions about MyMMJRx

[email protected]

Is MyMMJRx a medical practice?

No. MyMMJRx is a technology platform. Evaluations are done by independent physicians who are licensed in your state, and every medical decision is theirs.

How does MyMMJRx make money?

From the evaluation fee, which is charged only if a physician approves you. We don't sell your data, take money from dispensaries for referrals, or charge memberships.

Where does your state information come from?

From each state's own medical cannabis program — its official website, patient FAQs, fee schedules and, where available, the law itself. Every state page links its sources and shows when we last checked them.

Do you sell or share my information?

No. Your details go to the physician who evaluates you and, if you apply, to your state's program. We never share them with employers, insurers or advertisers.

I found something out of date — how do I tell you?

Email [email protected] with the page and what's changed. Rules change often, and corrections from patients help us keep every page accurate.
