How it works
Coverage
Already legal where you live?
Patients skip some or all of the adult-use cannabis tax in many states.
Medical patients can usually buy and carry more than recreational buyers.
Some strengths and formulas are sold only behind the patient counter.
Patient status can matter for housing, custody and some workplace rules.
Many states add 10–20% or more on recreational purchases. Check your state's rate.
$270a year back in your pocket
Your evaluation pays for itself in about 6 months.
An estimate, not a promise. Tax rules vary by state and city, and some states tax medical sales too.
Do I qualify?

Who you'll see
Each doctor holds an active medical license in your state, and is registered with the state's cannabis program where required.
You see who your doctor is before the visit, so you can verify them on your state medical board.

Questions
Pick your state and answer a few questions about your health. A doctor licensed in your state meets you by video for about 15 minutes. If they approve you, they file your certification and we help you finish your state's registry application.
There are two separate costs. Our evaluation starts at $79 and you pay it only if the doctor approves you. Your state may also charge a registry fee, which you pay to the state directly — it ranges from $0 to about $200 depending on where you live.
You aren't charged. We don't take payment until after approval, so there's nothing to refund.
The doctor files your certification after an approved visit. How fast the state issues the card depends on your state — some issue a digital card within hours, others take a few weeks. Use the state checker above to see your timeline.
Usually not. Records help if your condition isn't obvious from a conversation, and a few states ask for them. Your doctor will tell you if you need anything.
Yes. Visits run on a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Your answers go to your doctor and to the state registry only when you apply. We never sell your data or share it with employers or insurers.
Some states honor out-of-state cards, some let visitors register, and many don't accept them at all. Check the rules for the state you're visiting before you travel.
Yes, in most states — including states where the first visit must be in person. You can renew with us even if your first card came from someone else.
